Kaivalya has 8 years of experience in wet-lab research and received her PhD at the University of Freiburg, Germany, where her work focused on protein biochemistry and stress-related cellular signalling. Thereafter, she switched to the scientific communications field, and has been with Editage for the last 4 years, where she joined as part of the editing team, providing language and scientific editing support to authors around the world. She now manages the Biochemistry, Genetics, and Molecular Biology Center of Excellence, where she works closely with editors and authors to ensure the team delivers high-quality submission-ready manuscripts.
